Thanks Bob I did see your post Really good information there. Fortunately for me another fluid change and being meticulous about the fluid level worked. I put Castrol Transmax in it and it's working great now.

The linkage is adjusted to where it's supposed to be already. Put new oil in it, but still slips when I fist take it out. After motoring for about 20 it's not slipping. I'm going to change the fluid again, but I think I'm screwed. I'm probably going to have to replace it

Anyone know what transmission is in this? Universal 20hp engine, nothing in the manual about the transmission. It's starting to slip in fwd gear. I'm asking because it's 3 hours away and I may not be able to get there anytime soon. From what I've been able to find it sounds like a common...

I finally got back to the boat. Mine are the same as yours. The one that broke was for the sink drain, not the engine intake as I had eroniously remembered. Thanks to all for your responses.

Yes, under the galley sink. I have two different sizes there. The larger one I would like to order. It's for the raw water intake.

Just wondering if any of you other 35-3 owners out there know the size of the Marelon engine fresh water intake valve off hand? I didn't write it down and need the size so I can order several things at once. I looked thru the specs, owners manual and did a search, ....no luck. 1984 35-3 hull...

Do any E 35-3 owners know the dimensions for the mast top sheaves? I replaced wire/rope halyards with all rope and have trouble with the splice going over the sheave. I won't be pulling the mast any time soon, so trying to figure it out ahead of time.

Why would there need to be a high loop in the raw water hose between the heat exchanger and exhaust manifold? My m25 has one.
