    Check out west system coated with a clear finish, I used a water based clear with UV protector. I have wood exposed for three years and look's as good as the day we put it on. West system has a section in there lit of why & how to do this.

    Transom cut out

    We would like to remove our transom cut out for a swim step, the boat is an E-27 with a tiller & a A-4. I'm looking for input on the pro's & con's of this, what to watch for, what is need to stiffen the transom, etc. Thanks Mark

    Ericson 27 lowering mast

    Ok, I just bought a 71 ericson 27, we need to trailer the boat to it's new home this weekend. How does the mast step, there is no hinge on the deck, just what seems to be shoe that the mast sit on, is this shoe design so that we can winch the mast down, any suggestion's, Thanks for your help!
