I'm a newer sailor, I took all the rigging off my boat, to store boat in garage.......forgot wher the boom goes exactly (dumb). What the black ring on the mast mean? I bought a E23, how many inches from deck to the bottom of the boom; any pictures, comments, etc to help Sorry for this dumb...

What a easy repair on rudder ; having a slight peeling problem about 2 inch square? What type of product do I use ? It's above the water line; do I just sand it off and paint? Thanks Tom

mast step Great description, I already step mind down, I used line, it stretch from side to side but I kept it centered by hand; I got a measurement and I will use cable.......Thanks Tom

mast step I have the double back stay; note on the diagram #4 on lowering the mast; boom guys to mainsheet bale; what do I use for the boom guys (extra cable somewhere on the boat); everything else I have; where is this boom guy (is it one of the split backstays). Thanks, Tom

mast step I have 1974 mk 2 with the hinged msast step system; it shows boom guys going from the lower chainplate to the mainsheet bale to steady the mast from side to side; I cannot figure out what to use Tom
