Hello, I thought i would post a question to the Ericson audience here. I am in the process of replacing my rubrail rubber inserts. The old ones are shedding white gunk all over the hull and I finally am done. While removing the rubber insert on the starboard side I dropped the endcap of this...ericsonyachts.org
I think it is! Good eye, I hadn't noticed. I've only had the boat a few months.A resin casting from a mold is probably easiest. - If you really wanted metal it looks like you could slice some aluminum tubing lengthwise, angle two ends, have them welded. Do some finishing and drill some holes and there you go. You could really do it up and have it anodized.
Is the rubber bumper missing from the strip?
Almost four years now and we're still discovering new things about the boat. This is a great place to share the journey. Folks here still notice issues in photos of our boat that had slipped by me.I think it is! Good eye, I hadn't noticed. I've only had the boat a few months.
