Photos from Summer JAM Races (Erie, PA)

Hello, Wanted to share photos from weekly summer JAM races at the Erie Yacht Club (EYC). (This summer was my 1st season owning E33RH "Karma", and also my 1st season racing as a skipper. It was a great experience overall.) I noticed that there are not many E33RH photos under sail, thus thought...

Rookie Mistake! Need help/advice Threading Main Halyard (E33RH)

Hello all, I used a messenger line over the winter when my boat was on the hard. When swapping out, my "quick" connection (still sewn & taped) came off, thus my main halyard came off the mast. Because my boat (E33RH) is fractionally rigged, climbing up to masthead is not an option, thus ended...

New Owner of an Ericson 33 (E33RH)

Hello all, After a long search and a long buying process, I am very happy to report that I closed on my E33RH last week, and became a proud owner of Hull #12 (1982). I sincerely appreciate all the comments and advice provided by many owners/experts to my pre-purchase posts. I must say, one...

    E-33RH under sail

A friend shot this picture tonight while we were all out on different boats for an evening sail. I was crewing/relaxing on a Yamaha 33 and got to watch the Ericson I often crew on. Wonderful evening with good friends! Wind was about 10 knots with maybe 12+ in the puffs. This is part of...

    Need some help! (E-33RH)

Ok, we purchased our Ericson 33 last year in November, we did some cleaning on the boat, and the boat is being hauled out this next Tuesday to get the bottom redone. The interior is being refinished, and I am looking at having someone bid on the sole work, the cushions will be finished in 30...

    E33RH owners manual

Does anyone have the owners manual for the 33? I have downloaded the manuals for the 32, 34 and 35 and am going to look over any material that is common with all of the Ericson line. I would think that almost all of the wiring is standard, color coded, ect. Any help would be fantastic.

    E33RH teak and holly sole

What is the thickness of the existing sole on our boats, 1/4. 1/2. 3/4. Is the sole the standard 2-1/4 teak and 1/4 holly? It there a supplier that you would recommend? Thanks in advance

    E33RH Blog

I just thought I would share our blog with everyone. I feel that this will be the best place to list my personal updates, photos, projects, and stories. We will be doing a complete overhaul of our Ericson 33. I got a year to get the boat in tip top shape and I will need the help of the Ericson...

    E33RH headstay

I'm looking for the pin to pin measurement for an E33RH "stock" head stay. The current arrangement on my boat is an old Mariner roller furling system; sail hanks, head stay spins on big swivels on the top and bottom. It is difficult to get an accurate measurement around this contraption.
