I'm replacing all the pluming for my head and like every other project, it's "providing other opportunities for improvement" (I'm trying for the optimistic side today). I noticed the washers and nuts for the cap shroud chainplates have some rust. I tried searching for some pics and/or advice...

Does anyone know why Ericson used these Navtec terminals on standing rigging? Is there any advantage over a single turnbuckle?

I noticed oil at the top of the Navtec hydraulic backstay adjuster today. Its seeping out the seal on the piston/rod where it slides in and out. I assume this is a problem that will only get worse and needs to be addressed. Will this fail suddenly or can it wait a bit? It doesn't...
