Hi,
Having a new business that needs all of my time I made the decision to offer Tribute to a new owner. This boat belongs out there, not at the dock.

I owned her for 4 years, she does great in light wind with her fin keel. If there is no wind, her Yanmar engine takes care of it, and with about 3300 hours, there is plenty of life left.

Newish (2022)
Inside:
Espar heat, refrigeration, hot water tank, and propane sniffer
Outside:
new lifelines, dodger, and wheel cover.

The bilge is dry. The engine starts right up and purrs nicely, with no oil leak or any other problem. Oil and filter change every year.

I was planning on hulling out next fall for bottom paint. Diver John just cleaned the hull said everything looks good, removed some hard growth from max prop shaft, strut, rudder hinge, bottom of keel and other areas. Zincs are at 70%, max prop zinc at 80%, 3-3/4 inch strut zinc at 85%. Bottom still in pretty good condition.

Sails are (1) main, (3) head sails and (2) spinnakers (gennaker).

As for the asking price, I am thinking around 58k would be fair, negotiable some with the right buyer.

Cheers and Happy Sailing

Nice looking boat! but it will probably be a tough sell at that price in this current boat market/economy. There are a number of really nice late-model E-38-200s that have been for sale for 6+ months already--albeit priced about 10K or more less. Some are very nicely equipped as well.

If we didn't already have our new to us 35-3, and bigger if, difficult availability of slips in our area, we would be very interested. Nice looking boat, good luck.

Similar situation for us, sort of. For the price and apparent condition of this 38, we would like it a lot.
Alas, we are about a decade late for such a move. :esad:
However we still like our Olson very much. :egrin:
