We have decided to sell Altair (formerly Skitblathner) an Ericson 32, that was built by Pacific Seacroft, PSC bought Ericson molds from Ericson when they went out of business. She is serial number 001 of the Pacific Seacrafts built 333’s (they only built a few). She is currently in Salem, MA. where we have sailed her for the last four seasons. Since I have retired, we have decided to move up to a larger boat for longer distance cruising.

We have replaced all the interior upholstery, replaced the old chart plotter with a new Raymarine Axiom 5 and a new Raymarine autohelm. Existing wind, speed and depth instruments and radar were integrated by the professional installer.

Altair has been professionally maintained by the marina and all its system have been professionally services and are in good working condition.

Sails and canvas are professionally washed, repaired and stored by our local Doyle sail loft every off-season.

I have attached a few recent pictures and the “Captain Q Video” from 4 years ago. She looks better today than she did four years ago. We re-finished all the teak brightwork that looks pretty tatty in the video. We also replaced the leather on the wheel.

She sails great, is very seaworthy, fast, and weatherly. We always feel safe in her.

I have not listed the boat on with a broker yet or put it on Yachtworld. If you are interested contact me at moswords@gmail.com

Pretty amazing pr piece you’ve got here, with Captain Q’s endorsement. I really like the layout of the 333 interior better than the interior of our 2-3. Has it always been in saltwater? Details about the sail inventor? She’s a beautiful boat.

Thank you, it has not been an easy decision to put her up for sale, she sails beautifully. As far as I know, she’s always been in salt water, but since we’re up here in New England,
she’s only in the water from May through November. The sale inventory is a fully battened main and a Genoa. It’s set up for an asymmetrical spinnaker, but I don’t have one. They’re kind of expensive.
