28+ Ericson water inside mast?

Chasing a leak. Wet on plywood in head ceiling adjacent mast. Dripping down saloon wall onto cushions both port and SB. Believe it is from inside of mast sitting on deck step. Already rebedded adjacent deck hardware. Already took off seahood and closed holes. Rebedded port lights. Already captain tullyed the external mast/deck connection. If water from inside of mast, sitting on deck, how to fix? I think drill hole in mast near base and pour in Captain Tully? Or… haul out and step mast? Ugh

I assume this is a deck stepped mast. Wouldn't the Cap Tully poured in there make it difficult for whenever the mast does need to come down? It could rip apart the cabin top.

Water does get into the mast & is unavoidable. Make sure the drain hole at the base of the mast is clear and allowing water to escape. It's a very small rectangular slot, aft end. The other culprit is the wiring and how it is routed through the deck. It helps if the wiring in the mast has a "drip loop" before it enters the tube that penetrates the deck. Unfortunately if unplugging the drain hole doesn't work you will have to un-step the mast to check the other issues. I wouldn't advocate using any "Captain Tully" in or around the mast though. You definitely don't want to permanently block the drain as it is the only escape for internal water and there is no need to seal the outside of the mast it's sitting on top of the deck.

Common problem.
Solutions include a standpipe or sealing off the hole entirely and running the wires through a deck gland. Here are some previous threads.

Hello Friends...

Dave is right , water trough the mast is unavailable. My 381 is a step on keel mast and seems water was coming in for years. Goes with out saying that there is water damage around. Cabin sole around mast step is not salvageable. My idea is a 3/4 in. PVC replacement and use the existing as template. That way some water drips won't matter as much. Just like your mast , this mast takes some water from the holes on the standing and running rigging and drain on the bottom. Cabin sole seems to sit on it and absorb the moisture. So plastic is my solution.

I know PVC will stand out , but efficient solutions demand cosmetic sacrifices to the visual God's.
I can live with that.
