It was located about 120km east of La Paz, midway between the peninsula and the mainland, and right on the southern extension of the San Andreas fault. There were several smaller quakes from 3-5 mag in the previous days.
No confirmed reports of damage yet, but it seems that there was very little, at least on the mainland in Sinaloa. No word from La Paz or Los Cabos yet.
