I just pushed the spade connectors together and wrapped it with electrical tape. The female connectors dock quite nicely. Of course make sure it's secured out of the way.

If you do need to replace the oil pressure safety switch be sure to take the old one with you. The sump is below that switch so no oil will leak out. Someone told me there are two kinds of OPSSs: initially on and initially off. Maybe that's a rumor but if you purchase the wrong one I would think it either won't start at all or will immediately shut down once the pressure comes up.
