A4 Mechanic in St Petersburg

Does anyone know of a good, fair, honest, competent, engine mechanic who can work on an Atomic Four. I have a '73 Ericson 29 (recently purchased). The engine runs ok but I think it has been a while since it has been looked at. the boat is located in St Petersburg, FL and would like to find a good local mechanic to help me keep the engine in top condition. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Try contacting Torrenson Marine and see if they might have a listing of someone down there...

Their page for the Atomic 4 is maintained by A4 dealers - so perhaps the network will extend down to your area, and they can refer you to someone...

The Snead Island Boat Works in Palmetto does this kind of work well. 941-722-2400. Ask for Sue. Explain what you want, and she will schedule it. You bring your boat to them. I keep my Ericson 27 there. This is a boat yard from "out of the past." The job will be done when it is done,cost what it costs and it will be perfect. A lot of people search their whole lives for a boat yard like this.
