I had a lot of good informative feedback from the EYO group for this issue as well as many other questions I have had during my 11 years of boatmoanership
Awesome. You just coined a new boat term:

"Boatmoanership"

That sore, achy feeling you have when rising in the morning with bruises, scratches, and scrapes, from crawling around in the bowels of the lazarette replacing drain hoses the day before. Or, perhaps, the feeling after writing a check to the boatyard for almost anything these days....

At first glance, I thought you wrote... "Boatmoronship!"
It could also be...
That sore, achy feeling you have when rising in the morning
...and one knows that one has no reason but oneself for being in the predicament of one's own creation ... which also affects every other boater in your vicinity....and maybe the USCG.

It’s the landlubbers equivalent of “ homemoanership”. Always having repairs to perform on something you cannot live without.
