We were previously members of the Maine Ericson Association before it broke up. We sail out of Casco bay and just finished two weeks on the boat going to Penobscot and back. Happy to provide any info I can for facilities in Maine. Once you get into late September and October the sailing is fantastic but the facilities start shutting down. Also seems odd to us.

we are in the Bath / Brunswick area when not on the boat if people are trying to get together.
How many Maine members were there? Shame it disbanded.

Gabriel-

I am actually not a member of facebook. I will not bore everyone with why it is a bad idea to sign up with them, agree to their terms of service, and let them in effect own your computer and online presence.

I will say if folks use the right search terms in google they will wonder why any person of reasonable intelligence ever joined facebook.
Maybe for communication and time wasting.. There are muchmore insidious things in the world to be concerned about than Facebook. But you be you

Coecles harbor is a great place to meet, I would like to join other Ericson sailors there in 2026. Unfortunately for me, I will be in Penobscot Bay for a pre-planned trip early July.

I am looking to build an Ericson armada to visit our northern family, anyone interested in knowing more, please IM me.

It sounds grand Mark. Maine is definitely on our bucket list. For us we'd want 2-3 weeks for the journey and that's not in the cards for us in 2026.

Next time we're heading up to Georgetown (Gray Havens) we'd love to say hello. We really like that part of Maine...
Hey Sean. Sure we would love that. Sorry this reply took forever must have missed the forum notification. Send me a PM and we can figure it out.
