The anchor roller that came with our boat never rolled. It was a simple bronze wheel with a hole that a bolt acting as an axel. The problem is when you tightened the bolt, it pinched the wheel and it would bind. When I sent my sheeves off the Zephyrwerks, I included the anchor roller and asked if he could add a compression sleeve. He said it would be easier to make a new roller with a bronze bushing that spun on the compression tube. The result is perfect. My wife, who usually handles the business end of the anchor while I'm at the helm, said, "That's great, but I never knew there was a problem".
