We're told that the lowest pressure on record is coming our way. No one seems to know where it will make a landfall. I recommend keeping an eye on Cliff Mass's blog for wind and rain forecasts. He has controversial views, but I still say he is the best meteorologist we have.
Thanks! I just read thru the info on his site.
FWIW I do recall the Columbus Day Storm.
We have friends living on the coast near Tillamook, and their views should be amazing. (They are back a few blocks and up about a hundred feet, but have a partial view of the beach.)
We lost our Newport 28 in such a bomb cyclone in 2019 while docked on the Hudson River. On the upside, it led us to finding and buying our current E34-2.
