After over a year of thinking about options the first mate decided we should have an ice box, not a 12-volt fridge. So it is time to start designing it while doing the other assignments.
In the slip we have unlimited access to cube ice, but when we're out I really prefer block ice because it lasts longer. The question I've got is "are there standard block ice dimensions ?" I don't want to build a box that just happens to be an inch too small or too big for one block but not quite big enough for two
