Just a heads up for anyone in Rhode Island that might be heading to the Newport Boat Show. I was in the market for an autopilot, and picked up a Raymarine SPX-5 with the control head for $1170 from Defender. THat's about $500 less than the list price, and about $100 cheaper than I could find it online. They have their boat show specials listed online, and are offering another $100 off that price at the show. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me, until someone on here tells me they got one for $900.
