This weekend, June 18th, Port Royal Yacht Club in Redondo Beach is hosting a "Classic Plastic" regatta. They've been promoting it for a while and our boat is entered, but I guess I didn't realize how big a deal it is. Its a regatta for fiberglass boats designed prior to 1980.
Our 1970 E-32-2 fits the bill nicely. Its about a 20-22 mile race, don't know the course yet, with a beauty pageant following the race. We're not entering the beauty pagaent (concourse d'elegance) but we are doing the race.
Any other Ericson owners participating?
If you are, feel free to come down for a visit, a meet, and a cocktail.
