Companionway hatch

The hatch was rough when purchased and quickly got worse. Varnished the hatch, and oiled the dropboards. Not finished but it is serviceable

Thanks all.
Sort of a tribute to a friend's Dad. Friend was on his way to the dump with various 6X6's and 4x8's and such that his recently departed Dad had saved.
I told him Harvey had good reason for saving them.
