I do not recall seeing anything earlier than a brochure for an E-38-200.
Pricing? Ignorant again....
But, the broker that handled the sale of our boat knew the first owner and knew of the original sale. With nearly all the options on the order sheet our boat sold new for approx. $90K, late in 1988.

My take away is that, in general, Ericson did not build low-priced boats.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but here's some pricing for a 32-200, 34 & 38 (actually 38-200, if the drawing is correct). There's no date on this flyer, but I'm guessing '88 or '89. My recollection is that a well-outfitted 38 or 38-200 was right around $100k in '89 or '90.

$90,000 for a E38 in '88 is about $186k in today's dollars, at least based on CPI. That still seems like a pretty good deal, compared to current new boat prices!
