Custom Ericson 40

Anyone have any history on this boat? PHRF of 94 WOW! I am very tempted buy her (if the wife would let me) start racing and see how this boat would do against the J boats and Benny's on the great lakes. Supposedly built for the President of Ericson back in the day.

I don't know anything about that boat (why would the owner of Ericson cheap out and put an A4 in a 40' boat???), but there is a very neat 35-2 in town with a tapered mast and fancy primary winch pedestals set up for single-handing that was supposedly built for one of Ericsons owners as well.
