E29 info

I am shopping for a new boat. I've narrowed the search to an ericson 29 or a cal 29. Any info on the ericson - sailing charactoristics, weak points, or general reviews would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff, I do not have experience with either boat but I can recommend the following site

as a good analytical tool for comparing the relative merits of different boats. The site has a listing for the Ericson 29 but you'll have to plug in your own data for the CAL 29. Hope this helps. Bob Ells '89 E26 Boston
