I just pulled off my rusty lifelines and am going to replace them sooner or later.
As soon as they were off, I noticed that it seems it is a heck of a lot better getting on and off the boat from the middle of the boat instead of from the cockpit. It also seems it would be a lot better for docking - just step off the middle of the boat with both lines in hand.
Has anyone redone their lifelines on an E29 such that that the "gate" is in the middle of the boat instead of the cockpit?
