Remove your bolt (or bolts) and clamp it in a vise and take a good rasp/file to it and take off one or two threads worth.It looks like that may be all you need. If its too much manual work, go to Harbor Freight and get a small die grinder and grind away on the end of the offending bolt(s) until it clears. I think they have either compressed air powered or electric grinders that would do it.
