Project boat with tons of cool gear at a good price! In Ventura, CA. Due to a new full time+ job, the family handyman doesn't have the time to complete this project, and we would rather spend our free weekends sailing a smaller boat that's already put together. Will consider trading for cal 29, alberg, ericson or similar boat that's ready to go.
This boat has new full batten main and furling jib (and 10 bags of sails), harken traveller and furling system, 2 compasses, new bow roller and bruce anchors (2), new heavy-duty stanchions and pulpit. New in 2002: epoxy bottom, bronze seacocks, head, holding tank, running rigging, propane stove, refrigeration, shore pressure water (all copper plumbing), shore power, 1000 watt inverter and 110 wiring throughout. Waiting to be installed: Atomic 4, water heater, new, larger rudder from E38, wiring, diesel/kerosene heater, new water tanks (2). Boat needs some interior cabinetry behind dinette where previous owner began a remodel but didn't finish, same in head. Some wiring, plumbing and cabinetry, installation of above equipment, cosmetic work, and the boat is done. If you have more time than money, this is a good way to get yourself a bigger boat--that was our situation until very recently.
Will take $16K cash for the boat, or possible trade arrangement.
