Has anyone taken on this project
two of the bolts are leaking behind the electric panal that fasten the outboard track.
Water ends up under the chart table seat and in the storage next to the chart table
I put electrical tape on the track and it seemed to stop the leak.
If these are leaking there must be more
I can only get at some of the nuts
anyone tackle this project anyone
Thanks
Jeff

Are you sure it's from the outboard track bolts? On my E38 there is a round screw in plate in the deck, just behind the panel area. It is for optional ventilation. There is at least one stanchion base in the area, too.

I cannot believe it has been 14 years. I solved the leak for the most part but would like a more elegant solution. I but electrical tape over the bolts and leak stopped. Any thought on a better solution. One thought was to hope the nuts have resin on them from when the deck and hull were joined. Loosen the bolt caulk below head of the bolt and screw back in. I am afraid if the nuts don’t stay but I will only make the situation worse.
