The boat was again redesigned in 1987, when King moved the keel and mast forward and lengthened the cabin, which facilitated the installation of a somewhat larger aft stateroom to port.

Doesn't sound right to me. I thought the redesign of the 38 occurred in the early eighties. But then it also claims the Kohlmans founded the company which is complete bullshit.
I stopped reading that rag years ago, for good reason.
