1911tex Sustaining Member Dec 7, 2020 #3 Over the years I have seen in aircraft that the weakest links are the links or connections......not in the vast majority of cases, the wires/cables themselves. Like nquigley said, failures are weighted very heavily in favor of end-fittings.
