Free 1976 27' Ericson. Solid boat! We have owned it since 2017, no time to work on it anymore. Removed the Atomic 4, too expensive for new engine and old one is beyond refurb. The exhaust, gas system still in fine working order. Has straight shaft, cockpit steering. The hull is solid, no leaks! I removed the closed grey water system and installed a porta potty, mush easier. All plumbing still installed and have toilet if wanted to reinstall. The stove works as well, we just don't use it. A great starter boat! The mast very used, but still in good shape. The sails are old (originals?), still have Ericson emblem, but could be replacements. Included: All cushions, emergency equipment, anchors, line, spare parts, sails. Has 5 sailboat stands We have loved having the boat and would keep it, except for the engine replacement. Could always put on an outboard. It is currently on the hard in Bourne, MA. Will consider helping with $ for transport if local. Please contact if interested.

Do you still have the mooring, or know how to get one in the area? I know somebody who may be interested, when he was a child his passion was sailing on Buzzards Bay, and he used to sail with me on my E35 in San Diego Bay when we were in the navy together, but he would need somewhere to keep the boat.

Yes, I still have the mooring. It is private, not town owned. Not sure on transfer to another party, but can look into it. It is currently on the hard at my house. Have him contact me if interested. Best to use crwnsvn@gmail.com
Thanks - Chuck

I have passed on your email and the rest is up to him.

It sounds like you are making an extremely generous offer.
