Fuel Flow

Does anyone out there know the approximate fuel flow of the Universal 15 diesel engine on the E28+? I am a one season owner of a 1983 with a fuel gauge that simply refuses to work. While I troubleshoot the gauge, I'd like to take at least a SWAG at the amount of fuel I'm burning when motoring at 2200 RPM. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. jmilanette@aol.com

I gave up on fuel guages a long time ago. Now I just use a stick.

We have the same boat and year, gave up on the gauge and use a stick. I guesstimate 1 gallon per two hours of running time. This has kept be pretty close the last two years.
