Installing AC Marinair 16K BTU in E32-200

Living in Florida the AC is a must! Last summer I tried the option of the Portable AC and the noise was killing me! This year i decide to put an AC and bought the MarinAire 16k btu. I started the destruction inside the boat to fit the AC. I chose the closet on the rear berth. I will keep posting as i move along. Any guidance, suggestions is much appreciated.

Do you have to create a vent to connect to fresh air?

Hi, no you dont have to create a vent. It will take the air from the cabin and cool it down. Like a regular central AC in a house. Not like portables that require the vent out. This thing runs with shore power and a generator Honda 2000. You have to fit a EasyStart that will reduce and smooth out the power surge at start, allowing the AC to start with the generator.

I did struggle a bit with the cost which if you do it yourself could be 3K plus, but in our case means using the boat during the summer or not. I am waiting for the parts and pieces and will post as i move forward.
