Last Sail of 2025

After finally getting all of the problems worked out on Vesper we go for one last sail of the season on the Chesapeake Bay before winterizing the boat. It’s just a day sail but a reminder of why we try and keep our boats in good order.

It was, just too short. Already this week I paid my usual, once a month, visit to the boat (which is in the water) and had to deal with a frozen mast bilge line. Took about 30 minutes to resolve but it’s depressing to visit a boat you a
can‘t sail till spring.
