Does anyone have pics or a description of a low-friction ring sheet lead setup they use in lieu of inside/forward tracks for flying a small headsail on an E38?

Ah interesting this is something I want to figure out for when I install a staysail. I was planning to make some dyneema "tracks" that anchored between the fwd lower chain plate across the cabin top to the other fwd lower chain plate, with loops every couple of inches to have adjustable car positions. I wanted to use soft shackles for attaching everything. You can integrate a frictionless ring with a softshackle so you can move the "car" in board or outboard. Leech tension would be tricky to adjust, maybe could just have different sizes loops you could luggage tag on.
The sheeves on the original cars for my 25+ wouldn't spin and the sheet started waring a groove in them, so I replace them with lashed on low friction rings:

We found the 35-3 a month later, so I didn't get a chance to test it out, but the few sails we did with the new configuration worked really well. The 38 is a whole different class of boat though.

Genoa car low friction rings
Anyone else try low friction rings to replace their Genoa car sheaves? I've been planning on doing this for a while, but wasn't sure how it was going to work. Planning on trying this tomorrow. I'd love to hear other people's experiences with a similar application.
