M12 Problems

Stalled like starved for fuel just off the dock :esad:. Changed the primary filter, ran OK for about 30 min. Next trip started out fine, then starved again. Checked the fancor lift pump and while it seems the fuel gets a little aerated, it fills a pint bottle in short order. Cracked the line just before the injector pump, seems fine. Cracked the injector line at the injector, turned it over, no fuel. To me it looks like the injector pump is gone. Should there not be a LOT of pressure at the injector line/injector connection? Any other ideas? Thanks! Tim

Whenever I find an engine that runs for a while then starves I check the fuel tank vent. Spiders in the outlet, hose kinks, etc.

You may not have pressure from the high pressure pump because you got air in the system and need to bleed the engine.

I would remove the fill cap, bleed the engine, and start it up. If it runs OK I would clean out the vent line.
