Marine AC

I have an older R22 - 16k SeaMach AC system. The pump is a 115v 500GPH standard unit that is connected to a sea strainer. I was at the boat last night 105 in the cabin and started the unit, after 1 hour it lowered down to 95 but remained right around that temp. The unit isn’t freezing up, but doesn’t seem to be as cool at the register then our old MarineAir unit. I know I’m dealing with R22 and R427a to replace any Freon in the system.
Going to check water flow today or tomorrow to make sure there isn’t any blockage, I’m getting a pretty good stream of water at the output thruhul.
My main concern is that the water exiting the unit is HOT like our older unit.
