I noticed an ad for this in the current email update from Good Old Boat. I have never seen one of these in the wild, and have no idea how effective it really is.

The narrator of the how-to video has a familiar speaking style... FWIW.
If anyone here tries one, please give us an in-use report.
It appears to be aimed a smaller boat sailors.

Never seen a design like that before. It seems cheaper than an in boom leisure furl but that's not necessarily a good thing. Almost looks like you're adding another boom which adds weight and more obstacles in the way when underway. I think it's a creative idea though!
