Welcomes. She looks good, Keyport. We're down in Atlantic Highlands many times during season, will be on the lookout for you in the bays. (Which were teeming with dolphins last September.)

Congrats! And welcome.

The best advice I got when I first bought a boat, and which I immediately ignored and then was very, very sorry I had ignored was: 'Sail for a season before you go to a boatyard for anything." That gives you time to a) learn from fellow owners/dockmates which are the non-scammy boatyard(s) in your area and b) figure out what you really want/need done.

My second two thoughts are:
1) make sure someone is diving to check your zincs ASAP (unless you already know they;re good) and then regularly on some schedule and 2) google "galvanic isolator" and see if you want/need one. Getting one would have paid for itself in saved zinc costs in my case anyway. Those two things might be worth some attention on the early side (but do not require a boatyard.)
