No Windlass

Hi All,
I was curious what everyone does with their Ericson 38-200 when it doesn't have a windlass? My last boat didn't have one, but it did have a massive Samson Post to attach the bridal to. Do most people just install a windlass? If they do, where is the best place for it as the chain locker is a very shallow space..

The windlass challenge, ah. There are solutions. Best idea in a case like this is to Google the topic, adding "Ericson Yachts" or similar to the inquiry. That works better than the forum search function, or individual memory. For starters:
