We are going to change the name of our E-34 "88 from Aquamarine to
"No Bad Days".

But in doing so we need to get the old name and port name and change to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua ...

What have any of you found to be the best (easy on FG) way to take the PAINT off?

Removing painted name - Oven cleaner

I have found that Easy-Off oven cleaner works great. Spray it on and wait 10-20 minutes, then use a 'green scratchy pad' if it needs coaxing. Make sure you wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Rinse with lots of water.
