Oystercatcher, Before and After

I recently created this summary of my three-year (2012-2015) refitting of Oystercatcher. I've actually owned the boat since the fall of 2009, but for the first two-and-a-half years I was preoccupied with a renovation of my house. During that time and during the refitting I got my sailing fix on tall ships and on other people's boats. Not a bad trade-off, I suppose.

Very spic and span. What a pretty Garhauer array, and the red line.

And I must remember to mark "aft" on my traveler. :)

Thanks, Fellas.

Yea, that Sharpie-marked word, "Aft," really annoyed the Admiral. Erasing that with acetone was one of those little two-minute things on the two-page punch list that was easy to find excuses to ignore . . . when there was sailing to do that summer :)

Christian has made some greatest hits videos of his work and experiences. If only there were a greatest hits video of all the cussing and the stunned "What the F?" moments we've all had in the refitting of our darlings.
