Portlight rebuild or replacement options (preferably with tempered glass)

Does anyone have a source for portlight lenses in tempered glass?

For anyone who has rebuilt portlights where do you get the parts (hinges etc)?

There are cheap (some around $100) port light kits that look like Lewmar clones, has anyone used them?

They appear to be unlicensed copies. Surprising that Lawmar's attorneys have not yet (?) pursued them. Love the near-patriotic name, too! :(
I have seen tempered glass fixed ports on sailboats, but you would need to do some 'net searching.

I have pulled all the port lights out of my 74, 32-2. They came out easy frames and glass all good. If you or anyone needs them let me know.
I am installing New Found Metal ports on refit. Pricey but sparing no expense.

Those NFM units are sweet, will definitely consider for replacing the small one in the head.

The New Found Metal parts are amazing but my pockets aren’t that deep and honestly this isn’t my forever boat. I am happy if my work lasts 20years. I went ahead and bought the cheap Amazon portlights. Quality I would say is not as good as actual lewmar maybe 8 or 9 out of 10 in particular the seal which seems a bit less soft than I would expect, though this assessment could be partly looking at the powder on the seal. The seal has a replaceable and it looks like a lewmar seal would fit. The acrylic window is excellent for clarity. Overall these are much better in design than the originals, the acrylic is thicker, better design on the latch which is more positive.

We've got a leaker that will probably need replacement. I'd really appreciate a report after a few rainstorms.

I live in San Diego so I could probably go without port lights most days out of the year. But given it’s been a few days since install I sprayed them with the hose pretty good, more intensely than any rain it will ever see and it didn’t leak. The gaskets are much better looking after having cleaned the powder off. Overall I am happy, having replaced all of the portlights for less than 700 dollars the design of these is much more heavy duty than the original with thicker (casting or extrusion) a better latch and the porthole tunnel is brought all the way through the wall instead of ending at the wall

For Lewmar ports specifically, hatchmasters.com sells replacement parts and has a rebuild service. They don't do tempered glass that I'm aware of.

I have purchased replacement lenses, gaskets, and other parts for opening ports from them. I have not personally had them do a rebuild but bought a set of re-built fixed ports that they did off of Facebook market place from another Ericson owner who did not install them.

Our original ports were very crazed and looked terrible. Replacing the lenses has made a huge difference in the row away appearance of our boat.
