I'm seriously considering repowering.
I currently have the original Universal M12 (2 cyl 10hp).
Looking at wha'ts currently available, Yanmar, Westerbeke, and Beta all make engines in the 10 to 16 hp range that look like they would replace the M12 with little modification.
Any thoughts or experiences along this line?
Also, is there a dimensions chart available anywhere for the M12?
