I learned this weekend that the owner of the E38 two slips from me died after complications of Covid. His name is Hank Toles, once a member here, and his was the boat I chronicled being Awl-gripped (with good result). We were all surprised by the news of his death, as he was a talkative frequent visitor to dock and club. ,
Toles spent a small fortune upgrading this boat, new everything and more, in hopes of spending time aboard. It now sits lonely in its slip at the Cal Yacht Club, MDR, Los Angeles. It will need a new owner, and if I see the eventual listing I'll post it here.
Keep at it, there is limited time in this world but opportunity is always now.
