Backstory is that a group of friends get together on each others' boats about once a week in the summer for an evening sail. Some chips and some pop or a microbrew are often involved. Previous week I was sitting on a stern seat for a while on a Catalina 350 and sometimes driving.

This week we were on our Olson for a 3 hour sail. Winds were 12 to 18, and with the 97% blade and full main we were perfectly "powered up". Doing about 6.5 to weather, and pointing quite high. Heeled properly, but never got close to putting the deck in the water.
We all take turns driving and tweaking lines. All are present or former sailboat owners.
"It just doesn't get much better" we all agreed. :)
Sun was getting rather low when this was snapped, and we got her all put away a tad after sundown. Sorry about having no visible Mount Hood in the background, but wildfires have left some smoky haze to the east of us.
Yup; that be me at the wheel.

Very cool! Were you near Kelly Point? It kinda looks like it in the one picture.
