Anybody doing the Santa Barbara to King Harbor Race on August 4? Of course it's Fiesta Week in Santa Barbara so it will be a madhouse.

Don,
There were three Ericsons in the race this year -- our boat Voice of Reason, Aries, another E-32 but a much newer model, and an E-38 whose name escapes me right now. There was rain on Friday morning before the start. Can you believe it? Also, it was a port start with light winds almost due east.
We stayed overnight at C.I. harbor, Anacapa Marina. Very nice facilities there.

Hey Jim:
Saw you guys take off, very impressive. I can't say enough about your placing. The weather was a terrible, rain in the morning then no wind to speak of.
