I have secured and paid for MORNING RAIN participate in Seattle's own boating ritual at the log boom. Since 1920, this maritime tradition spurs skippers and crew to ready their vessels, inspires UW rowers to power Olympic dreams, and creates a spectacle for families like ours.

Late Log Boom registrations are still being accepted today till...??

Opening Day

Schedule:
THURSDAY, April 30:
1100 MORNING RAIN (towing WHALER) transits cut to logboom in Husky Harbor (East side of Montlake Bridge/Cut) (2-6 people).
1200 MORNING RAIN secures spot (1st come;1st served)
Overnight aboard MORNING RAIN (4-6 people)

FRIDAY, May 1:
Work, study, play aboard MORNING RAIN.
Overnight aboard MORNING RAIN (4-6 people)

SATURDAY, May 2:
IMPORTANT: "On Opening Day, no watercraft may cross or be on the parade route while it is closed.(approx: 0940) The parade route closes at 0940 and does not reopen until the SYC Marshall boats announce the parade route has re-opened, which will be sometime after 1430, depending on the length of the parade."
0600-0940 WHALER begins shuttling crew/supplies from parked vehicles to MORNING RAIN
0940 - 1500 (10-12 people) Enjoy Boat Parade, Windermere Cup, camaraderie.
1900 MORNING RAIN transits cut to return to McGinnis Marina in Ballard (2-6 people)
