Since the Ericson logo is completely symmetric, is there any convention against locating it in the same position on both sides of the sail, rather than high/low as is normally done? Seems to me it would give a slightly better and less cluttered appearance that way, but perhaps the sea gods don't like such liberties. The only drawback I can think of is that there would be 3 layers of cloth at that point, and that might be enough to nix it for the expert sail shapers. Thoughts?

Should be OK, but

The Viking helmet can be applied back to back, and usually is, but if you have the 23,5, 27, 28,29, or whatever boat size you have also included as part of the logo (goes right under the helmet), these will have to one above the other (on each side of the sail).....:egrin:

If you have the 5, the position of the logo will be the least or your worries. However, I'll bet she's easy to dock...:devil:
