Does anyone know the pole length for the Olson 34?
Appreciate it!
I was in need for one and as I dropped a bag of empty beer bottles in the roll away, In the dark, spotted a very decent replacement 3" diameter by 10 feet standing up next to the receptical!
its clean, complete and great working condition!

J = 13.25 feet, per "sailboat data", but I will try to check this against ours in a couple of days or so. That seems a bit long, but then I have not measured ours, as it came with the boat.

Thanks Loren,
I was able to find general info at forespar:

Sizing

Whisker poles should be 100% of the foot of whichever headsail is being flown. Measure from the tack to the clew and the whisker pole should be this length. You need to have some overlap in the pole. Poles telescoped to their maximum length are at their weakest, strength-wise. Diameter is a major function of strength. A 2-1/2" diameter tube is as much as 70% stronger than a 2" diameter tube. Size does matter!
