Railmakers in Southern California supplied stanchions for most of the models. Website address: www.railmakers.com. If the stanchions were dramatically bent due to a high impact force, Railmakers recommended to inspect the lifeline connection bales for any cracking caused by undo tensioning of the lifeline.
To add lower lifelines to my boat, I just picked up four stanchion tubes (mine disconnect from the bases) for $35 each from Railmakers--it was easier than trying to drill and flare a lower set of holes in the original tubes. I also bought some SS backing plates for $6 each. Great customer service, very easy to order from.
Before you use OEM stantions try consulting www.garhauer.co.nz. They will manufacture stantions custom to your boat at a very reasonable price. And it's great stuff.
